Description
Join the Seattle Wind Symphony for their 5th annual Star-Spangled Sspectacular, this year more spectacular than ever. This concert will be led by Dr. Wayne Bailey, Artistic Director and Conductor of Seattle Wind Symphony. Wayne will again be joined by a select 90-voice choir led by Dr. Linda Gingrich.
The concert will be a giant “Birthday Party for America” and will feature your favorite patriotic tunes.
Highlights Include:
- Seattle Police Department Color Guard
- Richard Rodgers in Concert performed by band and choir
- Armed Forces recognition pieces
- Featured soprano soloist, Alexandra Picard singing music by Meredith Willson and Antonin Dvorak
- Audience Sing-Along
- Familiar national tunes: Star-spangled Banner, God Bless America, Songs for America and more…
- Casey at the Bat, narrated by KING FM Host Dave Beck
- Rousing piccolo ensemble featuring area musicians of all ages

Ticket is required. Admission is free. Donations will be accepted to defray concert expenses.
