Support the Star-Spangled Spectacular with your gift of TIME!
We are excited to present our 10th Annual Star-Spangled Spectacular concert at Benaroya Hall! Volunteers help make this concert a *spectacular* success. This annual program of music celebrating Independence Day is free to the public and has become a great way to introduce the Seattle Wind Symphony to the community each year. Sign up to volunteer for the 2025 Star-Spangled Spectacular today!
While admission to the concert is free, SWS collects donations to help offset the cost of the event. Volunteers will:
- Collect cash/check donations from patrons
- Hand out and collect e-mail list sign-up forms (“Count Me In” cards)
- Share the Text-To-Donate number and QR code with attendees who wish to donate online
- At the end of intermission, all funds and cards will be returned to the volunteer coordinator at the information table
Concert Date/Time: Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at 7:30 pm
Location: Benaroya Hall, 200 University Street, Seattle, WA 98101
Volunteers will need to arrive between 30 minutes and 1 hour before the concert time (6:30 pm – 7 pm)

Volunteer Roles
Hat People
You will wear an Uncle Sam type hat (supplied by SWS) and roam the theater and lobby areas during intermission collecting donations and “Count Me In” (email list sign-up) cards.
Sign Carriers
Partnered with a Hat volunteer, you will carry a sign that displays a QR Code and/or Text-To-Donate number. You will help distribute and collect “Count Me In” cards, and assist the Hat volunteers as needed.
Lobby Table Crew
You will staff a table in the main lobby to share information about Seattle Wind Symphony, collect donations, and distribute and collect “Count Me In” cards. Tables will have information about SWS, stickers, email sign-up lists, and more.
